How to Read a Recipe Card
What a card says, and what it deliberately does not, so a requirement cannot be read as something the release did not record.
An ingredient is one of two instructions. A plain line — Copper Bar ×2 — is two Copper Bars. A line marked any of — Celery ×2, any of 4 — is two of any one of those items; the release groups a base material with all of its quality and variant keys, so the count is how many distinct items will do.
A recipe is made at a station, which is a place a player stands: the Forge, the Oven, the Prep Table, the Witching Mortar. When the release records no station, the recipe belongs to a profession instead: Food, Potion, Decorative. The card prints whichever one it has.
An unlock is what the release records and nothing more. Where it says a recipe needs an unlock and does not record the trigger, the card says exactly that and stops — no quest is named, because the release names none.

Forge
Bars, ingots, weapons and tools, all of them smelted or hammered out at the Forge.
Combine
The Combine turns what you gather into something else, one batch at a time.
Oven
The cooking bench: everything the release files as baked, boiled or roasted.
Jeweler's Desk
Rings, necklaces and trinkets, cut and set at the Jeweller’s Bench.
Prep Table
Ingredients prepared before they are cooked — dough, fillets, chopped goods.
Tinker's Desk
The fiddly things: batteries, mechanisms and small parts.
Witching Mortar
Reagents ground together at the Witching Mortar into potions and powders.
Craftsman's Bench
Furniture and larger objects, assembled at the Craftsman’s Bench.
Compost
Garden waste and fertiliser, broken down in the Compost bin.
Grinder
One material in, a different one out. A conversion rather than a craft.
Coffee Maker

This page says what the release records about a recipe. When the requirement is a chain — an item you cannot get yet, or a gate you cannot open — the Dependency Checker is the page that answers it.

Playing the original Demo?
The archive has no recipe database of its own
This database is built from the Steam release. The archived Demo predates the crafting tables and records no recipes at all, so there is nothing to search there and no archive recipe list to point at. Its item search is the closest entry point the archive has.
